Terms of Service

Last updated: July 12, 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Verdai app and website (together, the "Service"), operated by Verdai. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Verdai provides AI-assisted identification of plant diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies from photos, along with treatment suggestions, a field journal, market price information, weather data, and community features.

Verdai's diagnoses and treatment suggestions are AI-generated and provided for informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for advice from a professional agronomist, plant pathologist, or your local agricultural extension office — especially for decisions with significant financial or safety consequences (e.g. large-scale chemical application, commercial crop losses). Always use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional before acting on high-stakes decisions. Use only products registered for your crop and location, and follow the current product label for rate, protective equipment, re-entry, and pre-harvest instructions.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Subscriptions & payment

Some features may require a paid subscription tier. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms, including auto-renewal and cancellation policies. Prices and included features may change with notice.

Community content

You retain ownership of content you post, but grant Verdai a license to display it within the Service. Do not post anything you don't have the right to share. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy of AI-generated diagnoses. Crop and plant conditions can be affected by many factors an AI system cannot see (e.g. underlying soil issues, prior treatments, hidden pests) — no diagnosis is guaranteed accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verdai is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including crop loss, arising from your use of or reliance on the Service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
